We been writing some new stuff of late, fuck practising the stuff we know, the new stuff has been taking priority recently and its sounding awesome. Novocaine is a particular fave of mine, as is No Money and Mr. Scene and Deadsville, Fuck I love em all. Well done Lenny

Today, sun 16th, we play Heroes bar in Hastings Centre, its an all day event starting midday and we're on at 5pm. What better way to spend a beautiful sunday than watching the best rock band in the business.

Head on down, theres loads of other bands including Koobrakai, Recoil, Acusis, Exus, One Day Elliot, Inhumayne, Acidosis and others and will be cheap to get in

Our Edinburgh weekend

DRIVEN TO INSANITY, OR SCOTLAND AS WE CALL IT

This is the result of what was quite possibly the strangest weekend Noxious have ever had. It was so surreal, Lees fragile mind was warped by mixed images of huge titted yodeling Bavarian women, lute playing jesters in tight silver and gold spray on trousers (they were that tight) and crazy lederhosen wearing gimp drummers that he had to try and stop it exploding by sticking a nappy on his head. Aaaaaaaaaghhhh!!!!!!!!

After a 13 hour drive, those images were'nt what we wanted to see in the frame of mind we were in, free beer though which kept us going through it all.

Will and I had Haggis for the first time and it was good, kinda like a slimier cornish pastie. I didn't ask what exactly was in it, i'd rather not know if they had put the penises of ex-heroin addicts in it, though that might go some way to explaining why my waste products wouldn't flush away when I got home lol

There were some fun times, dancing the traditional scottish dances made the time pass quicker and hearing Joe moaning about he only had one spliff friday night made me laugh, sorry man but get over it ha ha

The City of Edinburgh itself was magnificent, stunning architecture, amazing views over the forth to the North of Scotland, grand monuments, gothic spires, it was a sight I personally revelled in.

Then we played football. Fuck. Fuck. Fuuuck. Come sunday morning, no-one looked like they hadn't been raped up the arse by 12 pirates who were out to enjoy their last taste of freedom before being sent to walk the plank. After falling on every limb on our bodies and slipping over left right and centre, our muscles and joints felt like they'd been given the worst Chinese torture known to man. Plus it didn't help that none of us are fit and have the muscles needed for football.

We're still hobbling a bit now, but are slowly getting our legs back. I can still play drums so I'm happy. Looking forward to the end of the week, practise on thursday and Will and I are gonna be getting together Friday to get some grooves down.

Anyway, got to go, I have a drum lesson to attend, or rather a 'shoot Luke down until he plays like a man' seesion to attend ha ha

Hey all

We're taking our first trip to Scotland this weekend to go and play some rock n roll in Edinburgh. Us, Ripchord and The Purple Bubble are gonna climb into a minibus and then all pile out about 12 hours later, all covered in bruises and booze i expect cos we would have had enough of each other by then lol

I think its gonna be a great weekend, we play Old St Pauls in Jeffrey Street on Friday 7th which is a fundraising night for charity then head over to The Left Bank in Guthrie Street on Saturday night. Thank god we have a driver though, none of us would wanna drive back home for god knows how many hours after a gig!!!

Right, i'm off to buy some tartan material to make meself a kilt, Och Ai!!!!

Easy guys,

Well, had an acoustic rehursal yesterday at my place, FUCKING HOT!!! was really good got loads of stuff done, mainly working on harmonies - and god do we need to....

We're working on a new track currently called "Mr. Scene" it's a special little number for all you "Emo" kids.... Awww bless that one's crying 'caus his eye liner's stinging again! best get mummy to kiss it better! which reminds me check this out its hilarious: MIGHTY MOSHING EMO RANGERS!!! - Remember power rangers??? these guys cry their emenies away man!

you smoke weed.. Then jam
u go home pissed off with the drummer coz he cant play intime.

you rehurse. U play gigs.
the bass player leaves coz u slept with his girlfriend.
u rehearse and get a new bass player.

u play some gigs again and brake some equipment.
u get a meeting with a label... Then u go meet them and its bull shit. After spending money on train to London.

u get another meeting with a label they have a studio and its closer to home ...
band sign RECORD DEAL!!!!.

band play get drunk and the bass player gets naked and starts playing with animals.
u rehurse ,learn how to write songs, listen to people and work for a year on doing it right.

the drummer gets heavier and faster..
the band get heavier ... U play more gigs pull 4 girls ones underage and the rest just fine LOL

band wake up go home .. And then play more gigs.
have a photo shoot then go home ,, make videos and have a laghf doing some gigs up and down country....

then u start to write and learn more and write better songs.

that's just the first 3 years in noxious in a genral kinda way .Weve had a fucking ball!!!! Whats to come....... The story of a rockn roll band is always diffrent but yet the same.......

after we dominate the UK and were ever else we can will we still be together...

DAM RIGHT! Noxious will get rid of manufactured rock. fuck with the system and generally cause Armageddon!!!

Haloween last year up at the Dublin Castle in Camden, shame there weren't more of a crowd to make it worth our effort eh?

Looking forward to our next gig though we're not quite sure where its gonna be at the minute. One of two places, gotta sort some stuff out first.

As Joe said, we were being pretty last night at my house. Acoustic guitars and hotrods for my drums, we took everything right down to 120 bpm (very slow for us) and really focused on the vocal harmonies and it was beautiful, in parts.

Well its been a good day been going power tool crazy..beware the nutter with the strimmer....
more importantly we've been together today workin on acoustics now that our other practice rooms have closed. We're no beach boys but damn we were knocking out some sweet harmonies and nice little variations of our new tunes, spose you gota be flexable.

Hey all

We started recording our little soundbytes last night for noxiousradio.com, just talking random crap into a microphone really but it made Joe and Lee feel at home ha ha

We had a very productive evening last night, the radio show is gonna be absolutely awesome. We had a big brainstorming session and came up with some cool ideas. I'm really looking forward to the first show, we'll let you know when its ready for download.

So, its almost sat 17th June, Foo Fighters, Q.O.T.S.A and Motorhead live in Hyde Park. Joe, Lee, Sam, Joe's dad and I are all going, gonna be absolutely awesome. Its been a long time since I saw any of those bands, better get the drink in soon, gotta have enough!!!!!!!! Will on the other hand is having a hippy weekend with his girl, camping under the stars in Cornwall, probably visiting the local tree lovers association while he's there too. If you see him, be very gentle with him, he's a fragile flower
