Our Edinburgh weekend

DRIVEN TO INSANITY, OR SCOTLAND AS WE CALL IT

This is the result of what was quite possibly the strangest weekend Noxious have ever had. It was so surreal, Lees fragile mind was warped by mixed images of huge titted yodeling Bavarian women, lute playing jesters in tight silver and gold spray on trousers (they were that tight) and crazy lederhosen wearing gimp drummers that he had to try and stop it exploding by sticking a nappy on his head. Aaaaaaaaaghhhh!!!!!!!!

After a 13 hour drive, those images were'nt what we wanted to see in the frame of mind we were in, free beer though which kept us going through it all.

Will and I had Haggis for the first time and it was good, kinda like a slimier cornish pastie. I didn't ask what exactly was in it, i'd rather not know if they had put the penises of ex-heroin addicts in it, though that might go some way to explaining why my waste products wouldn't flush away when I got home lol

There were some fun times, dancing the traditional scottish dances made the time pass quicker and hearing Joe moaning about he only had one spliff friday night made me laugh, sorry man but get over it ha ha

The City of Edinburgh itself was magnificent, stunning architecture, amazing views over the forth to the North of Scotland, grand monuments, gothic spires, it was a sight I personally revelled in.

Then we played football. Fuck. Fuck. Fuuuck. Come sunday morning, no-one looked like they hadn't been raped up the arse by 12 pirates who were out to enjoy their last taste of freedom before being sent to walk the plank. After falling on every limb on our bodies and slipping over left right and centre, our muscles and joints felt like they'd been given the worst Chinese torture known to man. Plus it didn't help that none of us are fit and have the muscles needed for football.

We're still hobbling a bit now, but are slowly getting our legs back. I can still play drums so I'm happy. Looking forward to the end of the week, practise on thursday and Will and I are gonna be getting together Friday to get some grooves down.

Anyway, got to go, I have a drum lesson to attend, or rather a 'shoot Luke down until he plays like a man' seesion to attend ha ha
